Grandmothers Song was written by Rachel Shields whilst sitting beneath a tree waiting for family in Tamworth one Christmas. The song a reflection of time spent as a child with her Gran in a small Country town many years ago, the insights that had been gifted and the acknowledgement of how that had grown to be a foundation for life.

Rachel heard Campbell's poem " Our Spiritual Earth Mother" and loved the depth of truth that Campbell touched on as well as his deep love for this Land.

Feeling a natural compliment to one another, Campbell and Rachel walked beside one another and discovered where the song lines meet.
